Title 3, Section 412(a): amended. Added section 412(a)(3) of title 3 to exempt leave under section 102(a)(1)(A) or (B) of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 from the 12-month, 1,250-hour eligible employee requirement.
Title 3, Section 412: renumbered. Renumbered subsections (c) and (d) of section 412 of title 3 as subsections (d) and (e), respectively.
Title 3, Section 412: amended. Inserted section 412(c) of title 3 to let covered employees substitute available paid leave for unpaid leave under section 102(a)(1)(A) or (B) of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993.
Title 3, Section 412(d)(2)(A): amended. Struck "and" at the end of section 412(d)(2)(A) of title 3.
Title 3, Section 412(d)(2)(B): amended. Struck the period at the end of section 412(d)(2)(B) of title 3 and inserted "; and".
Title 3, Section 412(d)(2): amended. Added section 412(d)(2)(C) of title 3 to require regulations implementing subsection (c) to follow that subsection's requirements.
Title 3, Section 412(e)(1): amended. Inserted "(as in effect on the date of enactment of the Presidential and Executive Office Accountability Act)" after "subsection (c)" in section 412(e)(1) of title 3.
