Before you tag @Flare_Reef

Read this once. Tagging us means you agree to it.

This is an experiment

Flare Reef is new and is being worked out in public. The rules for weighing proof, what gets shown and what our account posts will change as we learn. Every change is published on /algorithm with the date and the reason. A new rule never changes what was already recorded. It can only change how it is weighed and shown.

Tagging is your permission

When you tag @Flare_Reef under your own post, you let FlareForward record that post forever, word for word, with its pictures. You can tag as many of your own posts as you like, old or new.

It is permanent

A fingerprint of your post goes on the Flare blockchain. Nobody can remove it, not us, not you, not the project. If something was wrong, add an update under it. We can hide the text from this site, but the fact that it was recorded stays.

Never post a seed phrase, a private key or a password

Not in the post, not in a picture. If one was ever posted, treat it as public forever and move your funds right away. We cannot take anything back off the chain. Our bot will not record a post that looks like it holds recovery words.

Only your own posts

Only the person who wrote a post can record it. By tagging, you confirm the post is yours and is accurate as far as you know.

About projects, not people

Records are about contracts, tokens, websites and apps. Do not name or target private people.

New accounts wait

For your first 60 days, a person reads each of your records before it goes on the record. The 60 days start the day your first record is let through. After that, your records go on chain a few minutes after you post. A person can keep any account's records in review for longer.

While Flare Reef is an experiment, we can hold back any post or stop any account from recording, at any time, without giving a reason. Anything already recorded stays on the chain.

We record. We do not judge.

FlareForward records what you wrote and shows the proof you attached. We do not check whether it is right, and we never say whether something is true. The public rule on /algorithm weighs the proof on each side. Nothing on this site is financial advice.

Being recorded is not being reposted

Our X account reposts a record only when it meets the rules on /reposts, and for now a person approves every repost first.

You are responsible for what you post

If someone makes a claim against FlareForward because of what you recorded, you agree to cover it.

When we hide a record or stop a handle

We hide a record from the site under the public rule, under a legal order, under a copyright notice, or when you delete the post on X. We can stop a handle from recording more. What was already recorded stays on the chain.

The law that applies

These terms follow the law of the State of Oklahoma, United States.
